Is the internet and digital media second nature to you?

You could be perfect for this web designer role. Currently either working for yourself or within a web design or marketing agency, as a successful web designer you will almost be obsessed with great design and want to always push the boundaries. You will understand some coding but won't be a programmer. You will be able to bridge the gap between great design and what works online, seamlessly working with the other designers and programmers. You will understand how to translate a company's corporate identity to their website.

The skills: HTML, XHTML & CSS coding, knowledge of Javascript & DHTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator

The following would be an advantage: Coding to W3C standard, knowledge of SEO and Google, Flash, InDesign & CMS

The projects: You will initially be producing several websites for Origin 1 to further market our services to various niche industries. The role will also involve working with our senior web designer to develop and update sites for our varied client base (examples of sites created are on our website).

About us: Origin 1 are a small design agency established 13 years, based in a modern 5 year old property.

Location: Watford, approximately a 10 minute walk from Watford Junction station (mainline). Parking available.

The nitty-gritty: Monday - Friday / Hours: 9am - 6pm, 1 hr for lunch. Salary: neg. Paid overtime may be available. Non-smoking local(ish) person preferred, must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
